What IS freshly milled flour?
Exactly what it sounds like! We take the whole grain (wheat berry) and run it through our stone mill so the flour comes out fresh and chock-full of nutrients. We are committed to selling our flour as soon as possible so you have it at its peak freshness and nutrition.

How do I store my freshly milled flour?
Freshly Milled Flour contains the whole wheat berry, this means it also has its oils, which can make flour spoil over time (store bought/shelf-stable flours strip all that out, so they last longer, but that also means no nutrition…). We recommend storing our flours in an airtight container in the freezer or fridge to extend nutrition and shelf-life.

Isn't gluten bad for me?
If you have Celiac’s (or any diagnosed sensitivity)—Definitely. Otherwise, research shows that it’s not the gluten that causes inflammation and physical reactions, it’s most likely the highly processed flours you’re consuming in your foods! In fact, a Harvard study showed that those who eat less than 2 servings of grains per day increase their risk of heart related difficulties. So eat the good, unprocessed stuff, and start enjoying grains in your diet!
